...SANTA CRUZ

This is the city I lived in for a year as an exchange student. Its official name is "Santa Cruz De La Sierra" & it is located in the eastern part of Bolivia. If you're thinking of Bolivia as the Andes Mountians, well... That's the western half of Bolivia. The eastern half is flat and HOT!

Many of the streets have coverred sidewalks. Santa Cruz is an extremely hot city during much of the year - so the coverred sidewalks are greatly apreciated.
